Love and compassion is something that everyone wants to see more of. But if we continue to tell ourselves that we are loving, peaceful and compassionate people, while also supporting the one industry destroying our home the most, and exploiting, beheading and suffocating thousands upon thousands of animals every second, then we are cutting ourselves off from a huge part of reality, and a huge part of who we currently are. And since the two negate each other, to be compassionate - and to exploit others we would be living a kind of lie.
